Direct to Garment (DTG) printing is a great way to bring your designs to life. Using this method, a printer directly applies the ink onto the t-shirt itself. It’s the same concept of printing on paper, except on a t-shirt. A special printer prints the ink directly onto the garment in the desired design. DTG uses specialty water-based inks, which are absorbed by the fibers of the garment. One major upside of this particular printing method is that the end result is often lighter, and produces a softer touch than alternative methods such as Heat Press Vinyl or Screen Printing. The printing capabilities are also much greater, allowing you to print anything from photographs, to intricate full color designs in vibrant, stunning detail.
